I was asked to play bass in a band back in the early eighties,so I said sure.The thing is I didn't even know how to play bass! So I took it upon myself to learn how to play. I pulled out my AC/DC,Zep,Rush,Iron maiden,and whatever else I was listening to albums ( yes I said albums) and learned to play songs from them. back then you had to learn stuff by ear(no internet to find tabs),guitar player magazines were just starting to pop out.

I took lessons for a brief time so I could learn some theory but it only lasted a couple of years.Throughout that time I played with several bands all around the area club circuit doing covers and eventually doing original material. By the mids 90's I was touring across Canada, five rock and rollers in a van, you could imagine what that was like? It was one long..... ride. When things started to go sour I came back home, and started gigging around the area again. Right now I'm currently putting a cd together with some pals and working on art projects.
